Dubna

Dubna – Dubna is the longest river in Latgale, which, on its 149km long way to Daugava flows thru 34 lakes. This is a level 2 bout route, and the hardest part in it is the complicated orienteering while trying to find where the river leaves one of the many lakes. The local beaver population also likes to throw a challenge to the boaters from time to time. There are also some minor rapids and small waterfalls along the way, but in general, riding this river is safe, because in places, where the river flows the fastest, it is also very shallow.
